We Build The Future In The Present

We often are pelted by the enemy with our past mistakes, or times when bad things happened. He constantly wants us to look at the past. If we give in to that distraction, it can be overwhelming and we believe the near future will be equally troubled. It is good to look at the past for the purpose of learning what to do and what not to do should those same experiences come our way. However, the looking with fear does not accomplish anything good for us. It only paralyzes us from moving forward.

Philippians 3:13 Brethren, I count not myself to have apprehended: but this one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind, and reaching forth unto those things which are before,
14 I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus.

Whether the past holds good or bad, we need to leave it there – in the past. Yes, if you have something for which to repent, by all means do and seek forgiveness from our Father through the shed blood of our Messiah Yeshua (Jesus) and He will forgive. But then press on. There is much to be done and much to experience that will provide for us the life we are intended to experience.

Prayer
Father, we exalt You. You alone are our King, and we want Your kingdom all around us here. We praise and bless the name Yahuah (Lord). Send us today Your abundant provision. Forgive us for our sins and cleanse us from all unrighteousness. Heal up our hearts and bodies. Deliver us from those that would take from us what You have provided. Come to our defense with a strong hand. We ask these things in the name of Messiah Yeshua (Jesus). Amen.
