Relentless Pursuit
Some days I just look for one thing to focus on to help me in the spiritual battles we all face. Often for me, that is one scripture that reminds me of victory in spiritual warfare. Something that will inspire me to fight on. We need this at times because our enemy is relentless. He does not let up in his attacks on us, our family, and the possessions that our Father, Yahuah (Lord) has given to us. Today I thought about how Yahuah (Lord) is even more relentless that our enemy.
Psalms 121:4 Behold, he that keepeth Israel shall neither slumber nor sleep.
This morning in particular I found comfort in this scripture. Our God created our enemy originally. Whatever relentless characteristics the enemy has, our God Yahuah (Lord) has even more, because He is the originator. He is the Creator. With that in mind, reading this entire psalm is very powerful in the time of battle.
Psalms 121:1 I will lift up mine eyes unto the hills, from whence cometh my help.
2 My help cometh from the Lord, which made heaven and earth.
3 He will not suffer thy foot to be moved: he that keepeth thee will not slumber.
4 Behold, he that keepeth Israel shall neither slumber nor sleep.
5 The Lord is thy keeper: the Lord is thy shade upon thy right hand.
6 The sun shall not smite thee by day, nor the moon by night.
7 The Lord shall preserve thee from all evil: he shall preserve thy soul.
8 The Lord shall preserve thy going out and thy coming in from this time forth, and even for evermore.
Today, if you find yourself mindful of battling for yourself or others, remember that Yahuah (Lord) does not slumber or sleep. He preserves us in our coming and going, forever! Praise the name of Yahuah!
Prayer
Father, we exalt You. You alone are worthy of all our praise. We lift up Your name, Yahuah (Lord), above all the earth. Let the name Yahuah ring through the heavens! Let Your will from heaven fall upon the whole earth. Send us today Your overwhelming abundant provision. Forgive us our sins, great and small. Heal and guide us. Deliver us from the evil around us that is here to kill, steal, and destroy us. We love You. We need You Yahuah (Lord). Be our Protector and King. Show us a sign for good. In Yeshua’s (Jesus’) name. Amen.
