Where To Begin

When we stop to consider all that God has done, is doing, and promises to do for us and our families, it can be a little overwhelming emotionally. Let’s stop and think about it for a moment. Think of the wealthiest person in the world. Imagine that they were always there to make certain your physical needs for food, clothing, and shelter were met. Needs, not wants. But sometimes wants as well.

Philippians 4:19 But my God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus.

Psalms 37:4 Delight thyself also in the Lord; and he shall give thee the desires of thine heart.
5Commit thy way unto the Lord; trust also in him; and he shall bring it to pass.

Then, a team of all of the greatest doctors that had never lost a patient were your 24/7/365 support for you and your family’s health.

Psalms 103:3 Who forgiveth all thine iniquities; who healeth all thy diseases;

Matthew 12:15 But when Jesus knew it, he withdrew himself from thence: and great multitudes followed him, and he healed them all;

Finally, the greatest generals in the world armed with all of the most powerful weapons were you and your family’s personal body guards.

2 Chronicles 20:17 Ye shall not need to fight in this battle: set yourselves, stand ye still, and see the salvation of the Lord with you, O Judah and Jerusalem: fear not, nor be dismayed; to morrow go out against them: for the Lord will be with you.

Deuteronomy 1:30 The Lord your God which goeth before you, he shall fight for you, according to all that he did for you in Egypt before your eyes;

As we look at these things, we see that our God overwhelms us with blessing and care for our every need. We can be overwhelmed with the desire to give Him thanks. Today, as you think on these things, lift up your voice in thanksgiving and praise to our God.

Prayer
Father, we exalt You as the Most High God. You alone are worthy to be praised. You have given unto us the greatest of gifts – Your unfailing love. Send Your kingdom to this earth today. Let it reign here. Give us today Your overwhelming provision. Forgive us when we fail You. Heal us and deliver us. In Jesus’ (Yeshua’s) name. Amen.
