The Best Path
This morning as I drank my coffee and looked out at my garden, I thought about how God makes life possible for us. He is ever present in our lives working His wonders for us. Even the rabbit family that has decided to move in to my garden is a miracle in the making. As I looked at all of these things, a scripture came to mind that reminded me of how life unfolds for our betterment.
Psalms 16:5 The Lord is the portion of mine inheritance and of my cup: thou maintainest my lot.
6 The lines are fallen unto me in pleasant places; yea, I have a goodly heritage.
7 I will bless the Lord, who hath given me counsel: my reins also instruct me in the night seasons.
8 I have set the Lord always before me: because he is at my right hand, I shall not be moved.
9 Therefore my heart is glad, and my glory rejoiceth: my flesh also shall rest in hope.
10 For thou wilt not leave my soul in hell; neither wilt thou suffer thine Holy One to see corruption.
11 Thou wilt shew me the path of life: in thy presence is fulness of joy; at thy right hand there are pleasures for evermore.
God does all He does in an attempt to show us the path of life. He wants us to have good and not evil in our life. He wants us to experience complete joy. If we will but be in His presence and seek His face. We can have that joy on the path of life!
Prayer
Father, we exalt You. You alone are our King, there is none other for us. Please send us our provision today. Let Your kingdom come and reign on the earth. Forgive us when we fall. Send Your healing and deliverance. Keep us on the path of life. In Jesus’ (Yeshua’s) name. Amen.
