Yom Shabbat, Third Month 2, 6008 – May 20, 2023
Listen Close
Sitting here thinking about all of the scriptures that tell me to listen. To hear. To understand. To do. And the ones that come to mind are “from the Father” to the reader. What has come to light in my own life is the need to listen close. It is easy for me to hear or read something and think I immediately know what has been said. But what I am discovering is that there is often assumption or paradigm that colors what I am concluding from what I hear. The good news is, God does not hate me for it. He brings me back to look and hear again. What a loving Father!
Proverbs 2:1 My son, if thou wilt receive my words,
And hide my commandments with thee;
2 So that thou incline thine ear unto wisdom,
And apply thine heart to understanding;
3 Yea, if thou criest after knowledge,
And liftest up thy voice for understanding;
4 If thou seekest her as silver,
And searchest for her as for hid treasures;
5 Then shalt thou understand the fear of the LORD,
And find the knowledge of God.
Prayer
Father, I exalt You. You alone are King. Praise the name YAH! Praise the name YAHUAH! Let Your kingdom come here, and let Your will be done here, on earth as it is in heaven. Send me now Your provision. Let it overflow. Let it overflow. Forgive me my trespasses and transgressions YAH. I forgive those that have trespassed or transgressed against me YAH. I love You. I love You. I love You. Keep me in Your ways. Love You. Deliver me from the evil here and the evil plans men have for me. Let them not alight, but blow away with the whirlwind spirits YAH. I love You. I ask all these things of You Father King in the name YAH Yahusha HaMashiach. Amen.
