Fear Not

This phrase or some form of it is stated some 365 times in scripture or so I have heard it reported. To me, this number of times for YAH to have this stated in the scriptures indicates it is important for us to know. At least one place in the scriptures, specifically in the recording in Mark of the story of the daughter of Jairus, the Greek word for fear is the same word we use to create our word “phobia” in English. A phobia is considered an irrational excessive fear of something. Someone with a phobia will typically be triggered by the situation as if they are “grabbed” by it and often extreme anxiety or panic kicks in. When Yahusha said to Jairus, “Fear not, only believe” He was actually countering the report that had just come through people that had spoken that the daughter was dead. This most certainly would be a tough situation for any parent. But we see that through belief, the little girl was raised from the dead.

Mark 5:35 While he yet spake, there came from the ruler of the synagogue’s house certain which said, Thy daughter is dead: why troublest thou the Master any further?
36 As soon as Jesus heard the word that was spoken, he saith unto the ruler of the synagogue, Be not afraid, only believe.
37 And he suffered no man to follow him, save Peter, and James, and John the brother of James.
38 And he cometh to the house of the ruler of the synagogue, and seeth the tumult, and them that wept and wailed greatly.
39 And when he was come in, he saith unto them, Why make ye this ado, and weep? the damsel is not dead, but sleepeth.
40 And they laughed him to scorn. But when he had put them all out, he taketh the father and the mother of the damsel, and them that were with him, and entereth in where the damsel was lying.
41 And he took the damsel by the hand, and said unto her, Talitha cumi; which is, being interpreted, Damsel, I say unto thee, arise.
42 And straightway the damsel arose, and walked; for she was of the age of twelve years. And they were astonished with a great astonishment.
43 And he charged them straitly that no man should know it; and commanded that something should be given her to eat.

Prayer
Father, I exalt You. You alone are King. Praise the name YAH! Praise the name YAHUAH! Let Your kingdom come here, and let Your will be done here, on earth as it is in heaven. Send me now Your provision. Let it overflow. Let it overflow. Forgive me my trespasses and transgressions YAH. I forgive those that have trespassed or transgressed against me YAH. I love You. I love You. Keep me in Your ways. Deliver me from the evil here and the evil plans men have for me. Allow me to bring Your healings and miracles to pass O my King. Let the guardians defend and destroy the evil against me that it falls away and You alone are seen as the King and Deliverer. I love You. I love You. I love You. I ask all these things of You Father King in the name YAH Yahusha HaMashiach. Amen.
