Where To Begin
Thinking about how to build our fellow believers up, it makes me question how. It seems that there are general things that can be done and said. It is always good to speak encouraging words to someone. If I speak positively to another believer, both of us receive that blessing of hearing something positive. It is always good to try to do good deeds toward another person. If I help someone with their physical life, like shoveling snow, cutting grass, giving them a ride – all of these are general events that I can do at any time and it is a benefit to the individual. And there may be times when YAH reveals a specific need, spiritually or physically, that the person has. For me, I like a general one that Paul recommends in a letter he once wrote.
Colossians 3:16 Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom; teaching and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord.
17 And whatsoever ye do in word or deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God and the Father by him.
So, as interesting as it sounds, we can always begin with a song.
Prayer
Father, I exalt You. You alone are King. Praise the name YAH! Let Your kingdom come here, and let Your will be done here, on earth as it is in heaven. Send me now Your provision. Forgive me my trespasses and transgressions, and help me to forgive those that have trespassed or transgressed against me. I love You. Keep me from temptations, YAH. Deliver me from the evil here and from the evil plans men have for me. I love You, my King. I love You. Let the words of my mouth and the meditations of my heart be acceptable, O King. I love You. Heal the many in need of healing. I love You. I ask all these things of You Father King in the name YAH Yeshuah HaMashiach. Amen.
